Hello everyone, today i am going to talk about Asus Laptop and a problem associated with it. As we all know that Asus is a brand whose name speak for itself. The laptop and notepad of Asus brand are very easy to use and are of very high quality. But sometime this brand also has some issues.
As we know being the best brand, Asus tries very hard to offer its customers satisfactory services. But sometimes it has issues. Just like it has the same issue when one of my friend has the issue with the sound system of his Asus Laptop. Here i am going to tell you word by word account of his about what problem he has with his Asus Laptop: "I have a Asus Laptop with Windows 10 operating system. Recently i updated it to build 1511 and since then there is no audio coming through my speakers. I have changed drivers, uninstalled them, and re-installed them again, and still nothing happens. Currently i am on the Real-tek drivers and when I was on the High Definition Audio device originally, that time its setting shows the green thing going up and down, Now the sound is playing on it but nothing is coming out of speakers. If i put my Headphone or Earplugs into the audio jack, sound plays. I thought of contacting Asus Support but then decided against it as i was thinking to ask geek squad. Also, i know nothing is making the sensor think there is something in the audio jack, because when you are using the High Definition Audio device, you have to change between Headphones and Speakers. So please someone help me...!!" There now all of you know what he went through. But on the bright side the solution to this problem is quite simple. The solution which he followed i am explaining to you here. I hope its help. Solution Follow following steps to make the sound system work properly. First step is to plug in your headphone again then, right click on the speaker icon and select Playback Devices. Select speaker as your default playback device Now click Apply and OK then see if it will play thru the speakers. If it will play disconnect the headphone and observe if it continue playing using the speaker. If all of the above steps don't work, then follow the below given steps to make the sound work properly. 1. Do uninstall/reinstall the sound card driver. 2. Go to Device Manager and uninstall the sound card driver. 3. Open Asus Support site, download and install the latest driver there is. 4. Once installed reboot your laptop and see if the sound will work after the reboot. 5. If all these will not work do a System Restore, restore you laptop back to an earlier date or time before the update was installed. 6. Worst case if System Restore will still not work is you may need to run a complete factory reset. I am hoping this article solve all your queries regarding Asus Laptop sound system.
